Rebecca Bristow

Manager/SENCO

I love working with children, particularly the under 5’s where every day is different and enjoyable. I have been involved in preschools since 2009 when I joined the committee of the nursery my daughter attended, and I qualified as a Practitioner in 2012. I have a Level 3 diploma in Early Learning and Childcare and have been the Preschool Manager at St. Peter’s Preschool since September 2017. I am continually updating my knowledge and skills and have taken many courses in Early Years development. I am passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential and believe that all children should be in an environment where they feel nurtured and secure, and offered age-appropriate activities that are challenging, stimulating, fun and exciting.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two children, walking my dog, eating out and yoga.

Sophie Farley

Deputy Manager

I started working at St Peter’s Pre School in February 2023 as Deputy Manager.

I love working with children ensuring they feel comfortable and are able to reach their full potential.

I have over 10 years experience working in different childcare settings with a variety of ages from 4 weeks to 12 years.

I hold a Level 4 qualification in Early Years and am frequently updating and completing new training.

In my spare time I enjoy baking, gardening and lots of games and Lego with my 6 year old!

Jennifer Pollard

Early Years Practitioner

I moved to the village a couple of years ago from East Grinstead and started my eldest at St Peters Preschool when we moved here. I have Level 2 and 3 qualifications in childcare and education. Before I had my own children, I worked in various childcare settings, I have gained a lot of experience from having my own children and they’ve taught me a lot about young children and how to communicate with them. I first became involved with the parent management committee at Pre-school before becoming an assistant at the Pre-School where my youngest is still currently at. I Iove working with children and the Pre-School environment is just lovely and a joy to work in.

Sarah Moore

Preschool Assistant

I became involved with St Peter’s Preschool when my eldest child began attending the setting in 2015. My other two children also attended the preschool, during which time I was a member of the Management Committee. In February 2023, I started working as a preschool assistant. I am passionate about developing an early love for literacy, and so I enjoy sharing stories with the preschool children and watching their confidence grow.

Prior to working at St Peter’s Preschool, I worked as a family lawyer in London.

Currently, I am the lead librarian at the village primary school, and I am also studying a Writing for Children course, with a view to one day becoming an established children’s author!
