Rebecca Bristow

I love working with children, particularly the under 5’s where every day is different and enjoyable. I have been involved in preschools since 2009 when I joined the committee of the nursery my daughter attended, and I qualified as a Practitioner in 2012. I have a Level 3 diploma in Early Learning and Childcare and have been the Preschool Manager at St. Peter’s Preschool since September 2017. I am continually updating my knowledge and skills and have taken many courses in Early Years development. I am passionate about supporting children to achieve their full potential and believe that all children should be in an environment where they feel nurtured and secure, and offered age-appropriate activities that are challenging, stimulating, fun and exciting.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two children, walking my dog, eating out and yoga.

Tina Solomon

I have been working at St. Peter’s Pre-School since September 2013 and completed my Children and Young Persons Workforce Diploma Level 3 in 2014.

I have been Deputy Manager since September 2014 and am also the Designated Safeguarding Lead. I enjoy working with children and helping them develop and grow during their time with us is very rewarding. Before working at Preschool, I was Chair of the Management Committee for three years. Prior to retraining to work with children, I worked as a legal secretary and in marketing. I enjoy going out for walks with my family on the South Downs.

Beth Andrews

Early Years Practitioner

I have worked at St Peter’s Preschool since September 2016. I started as a Teacher’s Aide and then went onto qualify as a Level 3 Practitioner. I love my job. I feel so lucky to work with children and help to build the foundation of their learning.

I have three children of my own, two of which are twins. They have taught me a lot about how to communicate well with young people.

When I am not working, I enjoy going for walks with my family and our dog, Buddy. I love pottering at home, either crafting or decorating. I also love swimming and am a qualified Swim Teacher.

Jennifer Pollard

I moved to the village a couple of years ago from East Grinstead and started my eldest at St Peters Preschool when we moved here. I have Level 2 and 3 qualifications in childcare and education. Before I had my own children, I worked in various childcare settings, I have gained a lot of experience from having my own children and they’ve taught me a lot about young children and how to communicate with them. I started off on the committee for a few months before becoming an assistant at the Pre-School where my youngest is still currently at, I Iove working with children and the Pre-School environment is just lovely and a joy to work in.

Nicolette Glover

Early Years Practitioner

I first became involved with St Peter’s Preschool in 2015 when I joined the Committee before becoming a member of staff in 2016, I achieved my Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification in 2018. I thoroughly enjoy working at Preschool playing imaginatively with the children, having fun, and supporting them to grow as individuals. At St Peter’s we are a small team providing a friendly, nurturing environment for all our families and children, encouraging them to grow and learn at their own pace.

I live in the village with my husband and two young children, my eldest son attended preschool and loved it, making great friends who he has now gone onto primary school with.
